Area History
You will be surrounded by rolling hills and gentle pastures in
the midst of Robertson County.  Our beautiful Italianate home,
built in 1876 by John W. Stark, has been lovingly restored to
its Victorian Elegance. John W. Stark made his fortune with
the whiskey distillery on the property. We can’t wait to share
our home’s history with you.  A hand carved spiral staircase
will greet you with a cheery welcome. Breathtaking original
woodwork plus seven fireplaces and mantles enhance the
ambiance of our Springfield, Tennessee bed and breakfast
mansion.

Whiskey Distillery
Robertson County was once known world-wide for its fine
whiskey, and, at one time, there were over seventy-five whiskey
distilleries in operation in the county.
